When planning a kitchen remodel or luxury countertop upgrade in St. Louis, most homeowners focus primarily on the slab. They spend weeks admiring the dramatic veining of natural quartzite, the stateliness of marble, or the clean lines of engineered quartz.
However, sourcing an extraordinary material is only half of the equation. The final beauty, longevity, and structural integrity of your surfaces depend entirely on the hands executing the fabrication and installation.
At Topside Stone Countertops, we believe high-end surfaces require an uncompromising level of accountability. That is why we do things differently in St. Louis: founder and master craftsman Aiden Nichols personally manages our dedicated, in-house team. We ensure your home receives seamless, boutique care from your initial consultation to the final set.
The Topside Difference: The Power of a Dedicated In-House Team
In the stone industry, it has become common practice for companies to sell slabs and pass off the fabrication or installation to rotating, third-party subcontractors. This disconnect often results in misaligned veining, uneven seams, and zero accountability when issues arise.
We believe your home’s defining spaces deserve better. Here is why our in-house model sets a higher standard across St. Louis:
1. Direct Craftsman Oversight (Zero Subcontractors)
Master craftsman Aiden Nichols personally oversees every facet of your project. Because our installers are direct members of the Topside team, every technician on-site shares our strict standard for precision, care, and architectural integrity.
2. Digital Layout & Laser-Metric Precision
Achieving a flawless continuous backsplash or a bookmatched waterfall edge requires exacting precision. Our in-house team maps your space down to the millimeter, ensuring natural stone patterns flow harmoniously across seams and transitions.
3. Studio Fabrication
Your raw slabs are cut and custom-tailored inside our local St. Louis warehouse. Handling fabrication in-house allows us to maintain strict quality control over every mitered edge, bevel, and polish before the stone ever arrives at your home.
4. True White-Glove Installation
Our installers treat your residence with the utmost respect. We arrive on schedule, protect your living areas, and deliver a meticulous fit without shortcuts.
